Custom Low Volume Rapid Prototype Service Silicone Mold Vacuum Plastic Parts
Product Description
Crida's silicone vacuum casting is a manufacturing process with significant advantages. First, it will produce a master model through 3D printing, CNC processing and other methods, which is the basis for subsequent steps. Then, the liquid silicone is wrapped around the master model, and the bubbles are removed in a vacuum environment, and then placed in a curing box at about 40°C for curing. After the curing is completed, the mold is cut open and the master model is removed, leaving an empty mold cavity that can be used for replication. Subsequently, the mixed and debubbled polyurethane resin is poured into the mold cavity, and then heated, cured, trimmed and polished to obtain a high-precision finished product. The mold cost of this process is low, it can be delivered quickly, and a variety of materials can be selected. The product has high precision, fine details, and good surface finish, which is suitable for small batch production.
