Product Description

Custom CNC Machining Service CNC Turning High Precision Stainless Steel

CNC Parts Metal

CNC machining, standing for Computer Numerical Control machining, is the automated removal

of material from raw stock guided by computer-generated instructions.

This process is versatile, compatible with materials ranging from expanded polyurethane foam to

nickel superalloys. Common applications for CNC machining include fabricating various components,

crafting ornamental furniture, and producing turbine blades.

The cost of CNC machining is contingent on factors such as required precision, surface quality,

quantity, material selection, and the overall complexity of the part.

Product Details

We have the capability to work with a wide variety of materials in CNC machining, such as carbon

alloys, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, high nickel alloys, and engineered plastics.

Our team is dedicated to guiding you in choosing the most suitable material for your particular

application. Even if you are contemplating materials outside our standard list,

we are well-equipped to provide assistance and expertise for the best outcomes.

FAQ's

1. The cost of CNC machining a part is shaped by a variety of factors, including:

1. Material: Material selection introduces cost variations, with materials like aluminum being more

economical to machine compared to others like Inconel, attributed to factors such as tool wear and

cutting speeds.

2. Complexity: Parts featuring intricate designs incur higher machining costs. The complexity of

surface shapes, for instance, significantly influences overall machining expenses.

3. Tolerances: The precision demanded by dimensional tolerances impacts CNC machining costs.

Imposing overly tight tolerances on non-critical features can lead to unnecessary cost escalation.

4. Surface Finish: Achieving mirror finishes demands specialized tools and machining strategies,

extending machining time and, consequently, increasing costs.

5. Quantity: Production volume is a key determinant of costs. Low-volume production tends to be

costlier per part, as initial setup and programming costs are distributed over a smaller production

run.

2. Does you provide export molds?

Yes, we do provide export molds. It's crucial to be aware that our tooling is manufactured to comply

with our Modular Unit Dies (MUD). This results in a uniform base size for the tools, and customers

should be ready to accommodate tools of that size for seamless integration into their machines.

3. What are the minimum and maximum dimensions you can machine?

Our CNC machining services encompass both milling (3-axis, 3+2-axis, and 5-axis) and turning

processes. For 3/3+2-axis CNC milling, we can machine parts with dimensions up to

2000 x 1500 x 200 mm (78.7 x 59.0 x 7.8 in.).

In the case of 5-axis milling, the maximum part size is 650 x 650 x 300 mm (25.5 x 25.5 x 11.8 in.).

When it comes to CNC turning, we can handle parts with a maximum diameter of 431 mm (17 in.)

and a length of 990 mm (39 in.). For smaller parts, we recommend a minimum size of around

10 x 10 x 10 mm (0.39 x 0.39 x 0.39 in.).

Additionally, feature dimensions should not fall below 0.5 mm. Please note that our platform is limited

to a maximum size of 1000 mm (39 in.) for parts. If you have requirements beyond this limit,

feel free to contact our sales team for specialized assistance.
