Custom Brass CNC Turned Components CNC Fabrication Machining CNC Machine Service
CNC machining is a form of subtractive manufacturing that automatically removes material from raw
stock based on computer-generated instructions. Typically, CNC machines are categorized into two
types: one that keeps the raw stock stationary while rotating the cutting tool, and the other that
rotates the raw stock while moving it against a stationary tool. Various adaptations and hybrids of
these methods are employed to create parts with complex features.
Product Details
360 Brass, often referred to as free-machining brass, stands out as the brass alloy with the
highest lead content.
This abundance of lead contributes to its exceptional machinability, resulting in minimal tool
wear.
360 Brass finds widespread use in crafting various components, including gears, lock parts,
pipe fittings, and ornamental applications.
260 Brass, alternatively known as cartridge brass, though not as machinable as 360 brass,
boasts excellent weldability and ease of forming.
It is most frequently applied in the manufacturing of appliance components and fasteners.
Common Brass Materials | |
No. | Properties |
Brass Cz121 | Brass Cz121/C360 (CNC) is a highly machinable alloy with good tensile strength and natural corrosion resistance. Ideal for parts that require low friction. |
Brass C360 | Brass C360 (CNC) is highly machinable alloy with good tensile strength and natural corrosion resistance. Ideal for parts that require low friction. |
Brass Finishing and Post-Processing
360 Brass has a shiny yellow finish that varies depending on surface roughness.
It can be hand-polished to increase its sheen, or media blasted for more of a matte texture.

Applications of CNC Brass Parts
1. Transportation:
CNC turning services play a crucial role in various transportation sectors, including aerospace,
automotive, mass transit, rail and locomotive, military, and trucking industries.
These services are utilized in designing transportation equipment such as headnuts, gear blanks,
bearing blocks, levers, axles, and rotors.
2. Construction:
In the construction industry, CNC machines are employed to create robust components capable
of handling heavy loads. This includes the production of bolts and screws from metals like
stainless steel and aluminum, used in assembly and fastening functions.
3. Vehicles:
CNC turning services are extensively used for manufacturing auto parts, covering components
for engines (cylinder heads, connecting rods, camshafts), transmission parts (shafts, rings),
and suspension components (sway bars, control arms, tie rod ends), as well as other items like
bushings and bolts.
4. Air Travel:
The aviation industry relies on CNC turned parts for customization and creation, including probes,
joint connectors, fasteners, engine components, and aircraft parts.
Titanium, known for its capability to withstand extreme temperatures, is often used in
aviation-based CNC turned parts.

FAQ's
1. How fast can I expect to receive my parts?
Assuming you provide us with complete 2D and 3D CAD models, we can produce high-quality parts
in as little as two weeks. However, for more complex parts that require additional features, the
production timeline may extend. For accurate lead times based on your project, please request
a quote.
In terms of shipping, our primary mode is air freight, typically taking a few days for transit from
China to Europe or North America.
2. What measures are in place to ensure the quality of my parts?
Following the confirmation of your order, we initiate a thorough Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
review to pinpoint any concerns that our engineers identify as potential factors affecting part quality.
Our quality assurance process encompasses:
Rigorous inspection and verification of all incoming materials through the utilization of various
testing equipment.
Completion of final inspection reports conducted prior to shipment.
Additionally, we provide the capability to share inspection data with you in real-time, fostering
a collaborative environment where any emerging quality issues during production can be promptly
addressed.
3. What shipping terms do you operate under?
Our standard shipping terms are Ex Works (EXW) for both rapid prototyping and regular production
orders. In this scenario, the customer takes charge of shipping, customs clearance, and any related
fees once the goods have been dispatched from our premises.
For express shipments, we employ Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This places the responsibility on
the client to cover the import duty upon the goods' arrival at the specified destination.
