Stainless Steel 316, Stainless Steel 303, Stainless Steel 17-4PH, Stainless Steel 416,
Stainless Steel 2205 Duplex, Stainless Steel 420, Stainless Steel 440C, Stainless Steel 430,
Stainless Steel 301, and Stainless Steel 15-5, enabling us to meet a wide array of project
requirements.
Common Stainless Steel Materials | |
No. | Properties |
Stainless steel 304/304L | Stainless steel 304L (CNC) has excellent mechanical properties and good machinability. Resistant to most environments and corrosive media. |
Stainless steel 316/316L | Stainless steel 316L (CNC) has similar mechanical properties to 304, with higher corrosion and chemical resistance. Ideal for marine applications. |
Stainless steel 303 | Stainless steel 303 (CNC) has excellent toughness, but lower corrosion resistance than 304. Ideal for high volumes, due to its excellent machinability. |
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH | Stainless steel 17-4 (CNC) - SAE grade 630 - is a precipitation hardening alloy with good corrosion resistance. Can be hardened up to 44 HRC. |
Stainless steel 416 | Stainless steel 416 is magnetic and has a high machinability. |
Stainless steel 2205 Duplex | Stainless steel 2205 Duplex (CNC) is the alloy with the highest strength and hardness. Suitable for applications in severe environments up to 300°C. |
Stainless steel 420 | Stainless steel 420 provides high strength and corrosion resistance. It is the hardest of all stainless steels when hardened. |
Stainless steel 440C | Stainless steel 440C has improved toughness and corrosion resistance due to Carbon and Chromium content. |
Stainless steel 430 | Stainless steel 430 is magnetic and corrosion resistant. |
Stainless steel 301 | Stainless steel 301 is corrosion resistant similar to Stainless steel 304. |
Stainless steel 15-5 | Stainless steel 15-5 has a higher toughness than 17-4, better corrosion resistance and transverse properties compared to other similar martensitic grades. |
CNC Machining Applications
CNC turning services stand at the forefront of various industries, particularly in the transportation
sector encompassing aerospace, automotive, mass transit, rail and locomotive, military, and
trucking.
These services are integral to the creation of transportation equipment, including headnuts, gear
blanks, bearing blocks, levers, axles, and rotors, utilizing the precision of CNC machines.
In the construction industry, CNC turning is employed to manufacture robust bolts and screws
from materials like stainless steel and aluminum, catering to the demanding requirements of
heavy-duty applications.
Additionally, CNC turning services contribute significantly to the automotive sector, producing
essential components such as cylinder heads, connecting rods, camshafts, shafts, rings, sway
bars, control arms, tie rod ends, bushings, and bolts.
The aviation industry, known for its exacting standards, relies on CNC turned parts for probes,
joint connectors, fasteners, and engine and aircraft components, often opting for titanium due
to its resilience in extreme temperature conditions.

FAQ's
1. What are the minimum and maximum dimensions you can machine?
Our comprehensive CNC machining services cover milling (3-axis, 3+2-axis, and 5-axis)
and turning processes. In 3/3+2-axis CNC milling, we can achieve part dimensions up to
2000 x 1500 x 200 mm (78.7 x 59.0 x 7.8 in.).
For 5-axis milling, the maximum part size is 650 x 650 x 300 mm (25.5 x 25.5 x 11.8 in.).
CNC turning accommodates a maximum diameter of 431 mm (17 in.) and a length of 990 mm
(39 in.). Smaller parts are recommended to have dimensions around 10 x 10 x 10 mm
(0.39 x 0.39 x 0.39 in.), with a minimum feature size of 0.5 mm.
It's important to be aware that our platform imposes a maximum part size of 1000 mm (39 in.),
and for larger requirements, we encourage you to contact our sales team for tailored support.
2. What cosmetic standards do you guarantee?
Ensuring high-quality finishes, all CNC machined parts undergo standard deburring and edge
-breaking procedures. Critical edges requiring a sharp finish must be explicitly highlighted in
technical drawings.
Surfaces are guaranteed to be free from defects such as scratches, dents, stains, blemishes,
hanging marks, and minor imperfections. Specifically, critical surfaces (primary (a) side, per
technical drawings) will be devoid of mill steps and other marks.
On the secondary (b) side, minor hanging marks and up to 2 minor defects are considered
acceptable. To further enhance surface quality, visual appeal, and wear resistance, a variety
of post-processing and finishing methods can be applied to CNC machined parts.
3. How does compare to other suppliers on price?
Unlike Chinese suppliers who often compete on price, We chooses a different approach.
While our prices may not be the lowest, we prioritize delivering the highest levels of quality,
rapid response, and professional results, setting us apart in the market.
