CNC Custom Part CNC Milling Machining Parts CNC Brass Machined Components
CNC, which stands for computer numerical control, signifies any machining process that is
computer-controlled. CNC machining leverages computerized automation to produce parts with
greater speed, accuracy, precision, and intricate geometries compared to manual machining
methods.
It also minimizes the manual labor required for machining tasks that would traditionally be
performed by humans. Although individuals are not physically machining each part, their crucial
role lies in programming and operating the machines to ensure the seamless execution of every
operation.
Product Details
Brass is a metal alloy known for its low friction properties, exceptional electrical conductivity,
and distinctive golden appearance.
This material offers good machinability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications
that demand low friction and high electrical conductivity.
Common Brass Materials | |
No. | Properties |
Brass C3600 | It has superior machinability, thread rolling and knurling characteristics. Typically used in the manufacture of fluid connectors, threaded inserts, couplings, and more. |
Brass C3602 | It’s strength and resistance to corrosion with properties closely resembling that of steel. It is ideal for some of the most demanding conditions such as heavy industrial parts. |
Brass C3604 | It is used in the mass production of brass components. It is widely used in manufacturing hardware, connector, flange and other machine parts by lathe and CNC. |
Brass C4926 | A low leaded free cutting brass which conform RoHs and Reach environment regulations. Widely used on electronic parts, precision machine, valves, and related parts. |
Brass Finishing and Post-Processing
360 Brass has a shiny yellow finish that varies depending on surface roughness.
It can be hand-polished to increase its sheen, or media blasted for more of a matte texture.

Applications of CNC Brass Parts
1. Fasteners:
Essential components like screws, bolts, and nuts, required for joining and securing parts in
assemblies across industries, can be produced with CNC turning.
2. Valves and Valve Components:
CNC turning allows for the creation of valve bodies, stems, seats, and intricate components
utilized in fluid control systems.
3. Tooling Components:
Inserts, toolholders, and bodies used in machining operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
can be precision-made with CNC turning.
4. Automotive Parts:
CNC machining is employed in the production of various automotive parts, including engine
components, pulleys, brackets, and specialized parts.

FAQ's
1. Can make design drawings for me?
While we don't offer a standalone product design service, we do provide Design for Manufacturing
reviews for all approved orders. This entails collaborating with our clients to enhance the
manufacturability of their 2D and 3D drawings, address design conflicts, and reduce production
costs. Learn more about preparing your CAD drawings for manufacturing.
2. What type of design files does We accept for quoting?
To ensure precision and promptness in our quoting process, we exclusively accept 3D CAD files in
STL, STEP, or IGES formats. For 2D drawings with reference dimensions, please provide them in
PDF format.
Complete manufacturing information is crucial and should be included as part of the technical
documentation. Informal communication through SMS, Skype, email, etc., will not be deemed
acceptable for manufacturing purposes.
3. What is the typical turnaround time for a quotation?
In the majority of instances, we aim to provide a response within a few days of receiving a Request
for Quotation (RFQ). Should there be any delay in the quoting process, we commit to notifying you
at the earliest convenience.
4. Can I use my own material for production?
Yes, customer-supplied material is fine so long as it fits with our machine capabilities.
