CNC milling is a subtractive manufacturing process that begins by securing a block of metal or
plastic material within the CNC mill.
Using G-code, the CNC machine is programmed to efficiently mill out components from the raw
material block. Our 3- and 5-axis CNC machines are equipped with various toolsets to optimize
efficiency and production speed.
Plastic machined parts are typically left in an as-milled state, which may exhibit visible tool marks.
Certain metal parts offer additional finishing options, such as anodizing and chromate plating.
Once the production run is finished and the desired surface finish is applied, the parts are promptly
packaged and shipped.

Tolerances are not standardized across all processes and materials.
The final tolerances on your part depend on various factors, such as part size, design complexity,
the number and size of features, materials used, surface finish, and the manufacturing process
employed.
Once your order is confirmed, we conduct a Design for Manufacturing review to identify areas that
may need modification for better manufacturability.
It's helpful if you can specify which areas in your design have critical tolerances that must be met
and which can be adjusted, if necessary, to optimize production time and cost.

the lead time is typically 2-3 days. As the complexity of the parts increases, the lead time can
range from 2-5 days. High-complexity parts may require a lead time of 5-15 days.
Similarly, the quotation process varies depending on the complexity of your design.
Quotes can be provided in as little as 1 business day, or it may take 3 or more business days for
more intricate designs.

2. What are typical machining tolerances?
Typical machining tolerances fall within the range of ± 0.005 inches or 0.13 millimeters.
Tolerances represent the allowable variation for a specific dimension.
For instance, if a CNC machining tool has a tolerance of ± 0.01 millimeters, it means that the tool
can deviate by 0.01 millimeters in each cut.
When provided with a drawing, Our CNC machining service can achieve CNC parts with tolerances
as tight as ± 0.0002 inches.
In the absence of a drawing, all CNC parts are manufactured according to our ISO 2768 medium
standard.
We can also work to even tighter tolerances, such as ± 0.025 millimeters or ± 0.001 inches,
when an engineering drawing specifies critical features.
3. What if I am not completely satisfied with the parts I receive?
